    Producer's Letter: Celebrating 5 Years!

Godzilla Battle Line is celebrating its 5th anniversary since its worldwide release!
And, in an even more exciting development, we have just surpassed 5 million downloads.
We would like to thank all the players for their support. We could never have reached this milestone without you.

To thank all our fans for their support, we would like to share a message from Mr. Sato, the producer of Godzilla Battle Line.

◆ Letter from Godzilla Battle Line Producer ◆
To all the players of Godzilla Battle Line,

My name is Sato, the Godzilla Battle Line producer.
As was previously announced during the Godzilla Battle Line Summit, I have taken over the role of producer from Mr. Higuchi, so I wanted to introduce myself again to all of our players.
Thanks to all of you, Godzilla Battle Line is celebrating its 5th anniversary today!
I am deeply grateful for your continuous enjoyment and support for Godzilla Battle Line, which has allowed us to achieve this red-letter day.

Although last year did not see the release of any new Godzilla films, we have implemented a variety of features in the game.
From updating events, such as All-Star Battles and Ancient Ruins Challenge Battles, to implementing Godziboxes and more, we have made improvements and added features in terms of functionality as well.
As for collaborations with other IPs, in the March 2026 season, we brought back the Heisei-era Gamera series collab that was featured in our 4th anniversary season.
In addition, I believe there was a lot of excited surprise at the unexpected ZOIDS collab implemented for our 4.5 Anniversary.
Of course, beyond collaborations with other monsters and characters, we have also been joined by numerous Toho monsters.
In particular, there was the unveiling of Godzilla and Volga from “Godzilla Galaxy Odyssey” at Godzilla Fes, and above all, the presentation of the legendary Mechagodzilla drawn by Noriyoshi Ohrai in front of a crowd of Godzilla fans. That was an incredibly valuable experience for me personally, as the operations team and myself were able to feel everyone’s genuine passion while we waited backstage at that time.
Our 5th anniversary key project that was presented during the recent Godzilla Battle Line Summit, GODZILLA RE:BOOT MONSTERS, actually originated from this Godzilla Fes.
While I had always wanted to do this sort of project in Godzilla Battle Line, I was never certain how it would be received by the players, which made me hesitant to implement it.
However, witnessing the extreme level of enthusiasm at Godzilla Fes just for the poster art version of Mechagodzilla—a unit that only exists as a single image and could be described as a mere figment of imagination—solidified my resolve that we could also make this new reboot project a success.
With Mr. Shinji Nishikawa’s full cooperation for this project, we were able to meticulously craft not only the designs but also the background details. As a result, I believe we have been able to release new monsters into the world that will satisfy all our players.
I look forward to bringing many new monsters to all our players through the long continuation of this Godzilla Battle Line project, and I hope you’re all excited too.

We also previously mentioned some of our scheduled upcoming updates at the last Godzilla Battle Line Summit, and will continue to update the game’s systems day by day. From monster balance adjustments to improving matchmaking, the connection system, and more, we have listened to the players’ needs, and we will strive to do everything we can to continually improve your daily play experience.

Lastly, on this day of our 5th anniversary, we are already less than six months away from the release of “Godzilla Minus Zero”.
I am also eagerly anticipating “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova”, and I’m sure many others are similarly unable to contain their excitement for the year ahead.
Godzilla Battle Line will aspire to run alongside this spectacular Godzilla lineup and contribute to that passion in any way it can. On top of that, starting with GODZILLA RE:BOOT MONSTERS, Godzilla Battle Line will continue to evolve over the coming year. I hope you will continue to support Godzilla Battle Line long into the future.

With that, please continue enjoying the 3-minute monster all-star battles!
