We would like to announce the introduction of new items and a change in the availability of G-tokens.
New items Upgrade Coins (for upgrading battle pieces) and Expedition Coins (for purchasing items from the Daily Sale) will be available from around the end of June 2024.
The availability of G-tokens will also change to reflect the introduction of these new items. To date, G-tokens have been available as rewards for ranked battles and from packs sold in the Shop. However, going forward they will no longer be obtainable through these avenues.
We plan to convert all players’ G-tokens into Upgrade Coins by early August 2024.

An item used to upgrade battle pieces.

An item used to purchase items at the Daily Sale.
– How to Obtain
Like G-tokens, Upgrade Coins and Expedition Coins can be earned from battles, from Expedition Maps, as mission rewards, and through other avenues.

These new items will function similarly to G-tokens and we do not anticipate that this change will cause any disadvantage to players.
In addition, while the means of obtaining G-tokens will change, they will not disappear. Instead, they will remain an in-game item that is distributed via mechanisms determined by the operations team.
