    Notice of Balance Adjustment

    Thank you for playing Godzilla Battle Line.

    Please find below details on the next balance adjustments from the operation team.

    In order to ensure that Godzilla Battle Line is a game that entertains and excites players for many years to come, we carry out periodic balance adjustments.
    As part of our review of the competitive environment, we will be adjusting the number of trophies lost upon defeat, and balancing the parameters of battle pieces to coincide with the Season changeover on Tuesday, Aug. 31.

    Background to the Adjustments: Trophy Number


    In the previous balance adjustment, the number of trophies lost after losing a battle was reduced.
    However, because the number of trophies a player loses when defeated by a player with a higher Arena Rank was extremely low, this made it easier for players’ Arena Ranks to rise.
    As a result the number of players who have reached the current highest rank, Arena Rank 65, has increased, but the difference in ability within the ranks has become large, making it difficult to match players with similar levels of strength.

    We will again be adjusting the number of trophies lost in the Arena, and making adjustments to ensure players are at the appropriate rank reflecting their success in battles.
    Although the number of trophies lost on defeat will increase from the current Season, we believe that this adjustment will help ensure players can enjoy battles against opponents of a similar level of skill to themselves.

    We will also continue to make adjustments to the matching logic and Arena Rank range to ensure that everyone can have a good experience playing Godzilla Battle Line.

    Background to the Adjustments: Change in Growth Rate of Leader Units


    We have raised the parameters of Level 1 4★ battle pieces, so that when you first start the game, the leader unit takes a lot of damage to their HP, making them easy to defeat.
    As such, we have made adjustments to make it more difficult for a leader to be defeated upon just a small increase in their level.
    We believe these adjustments will make it easier for players starting out in the world of Godzilla Battle Line.

    Background to the Adjustments: 4★ Battle Piece Balance Adjustments


    The performance of 4★ battle pieces was improved in the previous group of balance adjustments, but since the enhancement was too biased toward some units, we have adjusted the parameters so that other units can also play an active role through clever strategy and team organization.

    Specific balance adjustments are as follows.

    Parameter Adjustment Details


    – Increased the number of trophies lost on defeat in the Arena.
    – Reviewed the growth rate of leader units from Levels 2-20, and adjusted the growth rate so it is higher at lower levels.
    – Reviewed the parameters of 4★ battle pieces, and lowered the parameters of overly strong units so that all 4★ units can play an active role in battles.

    Adjustments to Parameters of Specific Battle Pieces


    Spacegodzilla
    – Increased attack range to allow attacks from a greater distance.
    – Increased attack and HP.
    – By arranging the crystals diagonally in front on creation, made it easier for other monsters and weapons to target the crystals.
    – Increased the rising effect of the crystals’ attack.

    Mothra – Imago
    – Lowered HP and attack in consideration of the cost and player victory rate when used.

    Rodan
    – Lowered the cost to differentiate it from other flying units.

    King Ghidorah
    – Reduced attack range as the previous adjustments enhanced performance by too much.

    Megaguirus
    – Lowered the cost and increased attack to make HP and attack a better fit.

    Jet Jaguar
    – Reduced attack range in consideration of its ability to block attacks twice.

    Godzilla Terrestris
    – Lowered attack.

    Godzilla Ultima
    – Increased the wait time before attacking and reduced attack in consideration of its ability to avoid attacks from the leader.



    That concludes the balance adjustments.

    We believe that the above adjustments will open up a greater variety of team formations and battle strategies to players, making the battles this Season more heated than ever before.
    We hope players will enjoy trying out different team combinations, as well as attempting to predict their opponent’s next move in order to seize victory.

    We’re also in the final stages of implementing the upcoming event feature, which will allow players to experience the excitement of single-player battles.

    As we continue to draw on players’ feedback and suggestions to enhance the game, we will endeavor to make Godzilla Battle Line an even more thrilling and immersive experience for Godzilla fans all over the world.
