This is a notice from the operations team regarding the maximum level of battle pieces.
■ Maintenance Contents ■
During the scheduled maintenance on December 26th, we will be raising the maximum level of 1★ to 3★ battle pieces released to date from Level 30 to Level 40.
■ Background to the Adjustments ■
Over the past six months since Godzilla Battle Line’s world release, more and more players have successfully raised their battle pieces to the maximum level.
In consideration of this, we the operations team have investigated the possibility of raising the maximum unit level.
However, we have found that the number of players who have raised 4★ battle pieces to the maximum level is still small, so changing the level cap on all battle pieces regardless of rarity would result in a large gap between seasoned and newer players.
We have also received feedback over social media from many fans concerned about the change.
As a result, we have decided that while the level cap for 1★ to 3★ battle pieces will be raised to Level 40, the level cap for 4★ units will remain at Level 30.
The growth rate for Levels 31 and above will be 1/4 of the growth rate of Levels 21 to 30 to prevent a sudden, noticeable change in the playing environment.
We also believe that leveling up 1★ to 3★ battle pieces to Level 31 and beyond will help players better take on high-level 4★ battle pieces, and make it easier to build a formidable team of their favorite monsters and weapons.
In this update, we will also be adding more missions, and introducing yellow name text to mark units and facilities at Level 30 or higher on the battlefield, thereby making it easier to identify strong battle pieces.
At the same time, we plan to add more Starting Dash Missions to encourage new players to level up their units and start battling.
Since Godzilla Day in November, we have been pleased to welcome many new players to Godzilla Battle Line.
Our goal as the operations team is to build a playing environment where new players and more experienced players alike can enjoy competing in heated monster battles together.
We will continue to reflect carefully on the thoughtful feedback of players as we strive to release in-game updates that everyone can enjoy.
We also look forward to introducing more new monsters and weapons to help build out the exciting world of Godzilla Battle Line.
